Biography:
Elizabeth Stark is the CEO and founder of Lightning Labs. Lighting Labs is a company that scales blockchains, and it is established and based in San Francisco. Elizabeth was given birth and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She attained her J.D in Law from Harvard University.
She joined and became a flow at Coin Center. Coin Center happens to be non-profit research for supporting and developing stable government policing regarding Etherum, Bitcoin, and other technologies. She’s also an adviser at Comma.ai.
Also, she’s also the co-founder of Open Video Alliance, a league of organizations and people facilitating free expression in online video.
Elizabeth also was an important person in the anti- SOPA/PIPA movement that was devoted to online freedom of expression and content distribution.
Elizabeth started a Better Internet Program in Stanford. The program was aimed to engage young people in developing and building creative ideas for the improvement of the Internet.
Elizabeth Stark is an enthusiastic contributor and supporter of the Bitcoin community. Presently, she’s residing in San Francisco, California. She worked and lived in Singapore, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, and she speaks three foreign languages too, which include, Portuguese, German and French.
